ChallengesAs the Sinsay app grew and the brand expanded into new markets, Sinsay needed a solution that could scale push communication efficiently, engage millions of customers consistently, and translate that engagement into sales and long-term customer value.
SolutionsWorking closely with the Sinsay team, we assessed the requirements for scaling push communication and designed a solution built for multi-market operations and high campaign volumes.
We provided scalable infrastructure and a platform for planning, executing, and analyzing campaigns, complemented by a dedicated collaboration model that includes regular operational meetings, a shared Jira board, and priority technical support.
ResultsOver a 12-month period, Sinsay ran 1,118 campaigns across 13 European markets, activating approximately 7 million customers. Engagement with push notifications generated 48 million sessions and contributed to 750,000 transactions.
Challenges
How do you scale mobile communication and turn app growth into business growth?
As the Sinsay app expanded rapidly and the brand entered new markets, both its user base and the role of mobile communication within LPP’s broader sales ecosystem grew significantly.
Sinsay’s goal was to make the app more than just another customer touchpoint. It needed to become a scalable channel for promotion, customer activation, and sales. Push communication was expected to support app growth and retention, drive more frequent purchases, and contribute to higher long-term customer value.
At the same time, Sinsay’s expansion made campaign operations increasingly complex. Communication had to be delivered quickly, consistently, and reliably across a growing number of markets, without compromising the flexibility required for day-to-day execution.
Scaling communication as Sinsay expands
The Sinsay team coordinates campaigns across multiple markets simultaneously, working with teams responsible for content, creative assets, and campaign execution. In some countries, messages are sent as often as four times a day, while certain campaigns need to go live almost immediately. The challenge was therefore to scale both campaign volume and reach without compromising speed, execution quality, or operational flexibility.
Activating millions of app users
Growth in app installations does not automatically translate into business value. The key challenge was to bring customers back to the app consistently and encourage them to engage again.
Push notifications were designed to provide that immediate trigger: prompting users to open the app, directing them to a specific offer, and moving them further along the purchase journey. At a scale of millions of users, this required careful control over message frequency, content, and timing.
Turning engagement into business outcomes
Another challenge was to connect the engagement generated by push communication with outcomes that matter to the business – most notably transactions, purchase frequency, and long-term customer value.
This required analytics that could assess not only the performance of individual campaigns, but also the behavior and long-term value of customers who engage with the channel.
Solutions
Technology that scales with Sinsay
LPP uses MessageFlow to manage multichannel communication across its brands. Our partnership began in 2021 with email marketing and has since expanded to include mobile push, SMS, and Viber.
For Sinsay, mobile push has become a particularly important channel. MessageFlow provides the technology, infrastructure, and operational support needed to manage campaigns across multiple markets from a single platform – from planning and delivery to performance analysis and day-to-day execution.
Today, the solution supporting Sinsay’s push communication includes:
scalable infrastructure built for high campaign volumes,
a platform for planning and executing campaigns,
analytics for measuring communication performance,
tools that streamline campaign operations across multiple markets,
technical and operational support tailored to enterprise requirements.
Mobile push that brings customers back to the app
Mobile push is one of Sinsay’s most important direct marketing channels. The brand uses it not only to support promotions and sales, but also to inform, inspire, and maintain regular engagement with customers. Email and SMS complement this communication model.
Timing plays a critical role. Messages need to reach customers when they are most likely to open the app and take action. Sinsay therefore uses MessageFlow to adapt its communication to different moments throughout the day.
In its day-to-day operations, the brand combines sales campaigns with recurring formats designed to keep customers engaged, including:
recurring one-day promotions,
Product of the Week campaigns,
content around emerging trends and seasonal inspiration,
local and less obvious calendar occasions.
A platform shaped by the team that uses it every day
With more than a thousand campaigns a year running across multiple countries, even small product improvements can make a meaningful difference to day-to-day efficiency.
The relationship between Sinsay and MessageFlow goes beyond the use of a standard software platform. Sinsay is one of the key partners contributing to the development of the push module, and feedback from its team is regularly discussed and incorporated into product priorities.
This collaboration has helped us develop capabilities that address specific operational needs, including:
more granular campaign reporting and better visibility into clicks and interactions,
faster access to campaign parameters without having to open individual messages,
simpler and more efficient campaign testing,
the ability to prepare tests for multiple markets in parallel,
the ability to duplicate existing campaigns, particularly for recurring or repeatable activities.
A shared operating model, not a traditional client–vendor relationship
At this scale, technology alone is not enough. The way both teams work together is equally important, particularly when issues need to be resolved quickly or new requirements emerge.
Rather than relying on fragmented email requests, we introduced regular operational meetings and a shared Jira board. Both teams have continuous visibility into requests, bugs, deployments, and incidents, making it easier to prioritize issues, coordinate actions, and move quickly when needed.
LPP also operates under a priority support model. This includes direct access to key MessageFlow contacts, a dedicated emergency phone line, the option to arrange an immediate conference call in urgent situations, and support outside standard business hours, including weekends.
MessageFlow continues to evolve alongside us and keeps pace with the speed of our growth. What we value most is that when an unusual requirement arises, the answer is never simply that it cannot be done. The team first explores what is possible and works with us to find the right solution.

Results
More than 1,000 campaigns a year across 13 European markets
The solution built to support Sinsay’s growing scale now powers mobile push campaigns across 13 European markets.
Over a 12-month period, the team ran 1,118 campaigns through MessageFlow, reaching tens of millions of customers across multiple countries. The combination of scalable infrastructure and ongoing platform improvements enables Sinsay to manage this level of campaign activity while maintaining the speed and flexibility required for day-to-day e-commerce operations.
7 million customers activated and 48 million app sessions
A key role of mobile push is to bring customers back to the app and encourage continued engagement. Over 12 months, Sinsay activated approximately 7 million customers through the channel, generating 48 million app sessions.
Customer response is also remarkably fast. 25% of sessions attributed to push begin within four minutes of a notification being sent, while more than 60% of push-driven traffic is generated within the first hour.

750,000 transactions and higher LTV among engaged customers
The impact goes well beyond driving additional app visits. Over the same period, 750,000 transactions were recorded following engagement with a push notification.
The data also points to a strong relationship between push engagement and long-term customer value:
up to 5× higher LTV among e-commerce customers who engage with push,
up to 3× higher LTV among in-store customers who engage with push.
For Sinsay, mobile push has become far more than an additional communication channel. It enables the brand to engage customers consistently across 13 markets, drive millions of return visits to the app, and translate that engagement into measurable commercial outcomes.
