BADANIA.PL faced a significant challenge in managing the distribution of authorisation codes required for electronic referrals for laboratory tests. This process had to be efficient, secure, and reliable. Any delays or mistakes could significantly affect patient trust in the platform.

Another essential challenge involved successfully implementing SMS campaigns encouraging patients to undertake regular diagnostic screenings. The goal was not only reaching the largest possible audience, but also crafting compelling messages to motivate patient action.

Maintaining the highest security standards in medical communication was also critical. Medical data requires exceptional protection, and any data breach could severely harm the platform’s reputation and user trust.The final challenge was managing a large contact database and delivering real-time messages. The growing number of users necessitated technological solutions capable of rapidly sending SMS messages, even to hundreds of thousands of recipients simultaneously.

Implementation of effective
SMS communication

Introducing effective marketing and transactional SMS communication was essential to maintaining high-quality healthcare services. After thoroughly analysing BADANIA.PL’s operational specifics, we identified key areas for improvement and proposed several solutions significantly enhancing the platform’s patient communication.

Firstly, the client’s internal system was integrated with our platform using REST API. This integration ensured higher throughput, message-sending efficiency, and link stability, facilitating quick and reliable delivery of transactional messages such as appointment notifications, confirmations, and reminders for tests.

Another solution involved setting up a personalised SMS sender ID. To enhance patient trust and avoid suspicion regarding received messages, we introduced a branded sender name. Messages with a personalised sender ID are perceived as more trustworthy and aligned with the brand.Shortened links directing users to websites were also implemented. Short links save space within marketing campaigns and enable measuring their effectiveness through click tracking. Additionally, they encourage recipients to take immediate action.
